Mold testing is the collection and laboratory analysis of air, surface and bulk samples to confirm the presence, species, and concentration of microbial growth in a property.

Arnold Mold Inspections performs comprehensive mold testing across Los Angeles, including spore-trap air sampling, surface tape-lifts, swab sampling, and bulk material analysis. Samples are collected with calibrated pumps and standardized protocols, then submitted under chain-of-custody to an accredited environmental laboratory.

Testing is most often paired with a full mold inspection, but standalone testing is also available for clearance work, real estate due diligence, or insurance documentation. We discuss the appropriate sampling strategy with you before any sample is collected, so you know exactly what you are paying for and what each result will tell you.

Results are returned as a structured laboratory report with raw and corrected spore counts, comparison to outdoor reference samples, and identification of indicator species such as Stachybotrys, Chaetomium, Aspergillus, Penicillium and Cladosporium.
